The type PRMW is a spiral casing pump in process design with magnetic coupling according to API 685 for thermal oil applications.

The pump has a permanent magnet coupling, and the containment shell hermetically seals the fluid to the outside.

The bearing housing with molded ribs is designed as a cooling piece. Thus, the temperatures in the gap pot area are significantly below the flow temperature in the spiral housing.

There is no internal circulation. The sliding bearing and a throttle section prevent the exchange of contaminated product with the clean medium in the magnet space.

For higher eddy current losses, an additional cooling circuit is required.

The pump is not self-venting and must be vented with an open suction slide via a venting device.

The volute has sturdy cast-on supports for a center-axle suspension and a welded and flanged drain and vent.

The bearing of the pump shaft takes place in SiC plain bearings, the drive shaft is mounted in oil-lubricated roller bearings.
