The type HZSM is a self-priming, single or multi-stage centrifugal pump with magnetic coupling.

The venting works on the principle of a side channel pump. The liquid present in the pump forms when starting with the amount of air present in the suction line, a liquid - gas mixture, wherein the existing air content is conveyed by the vent in the discharge nozzle. Due to the pressure-side arrangement of the venting stage, a complete venting of suction line and pump body is ensured.

The pump has a permanent magnet coupling, and the containment shell hermetically seals the fluid to the outside. An internal circulation current dissipates the heat generated by the eddy current losses.

The bearing of the pump shaft is carried out in SiC plain bearings, the drive shaft is mounted in permanently grease-lubricated ball bearings. Wear rings are standard on the suction and pressure sides.

The axial thrust compensation is done by a double-sided relief disc whose discharge chambers are acted upon by both the pressure side of the pump and by the pressure of the first stage.
