Alexander Hammer takes over the baton and becomes the new Divisional Sales Manager

Alexander Hammer takes over as Divisional Sales Manager on October 1, 2021, replacing Rainer Landowski, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Effective October 1, Alexander Hammer will take over as Divisional Sales Manager at Dickow Pumpen, replacing Rainer Landowski, who will retire at the end of 2021. For the remaining three months, Mr. Hammer and Mr. Landowski will jointly manage sales at Dickow Pumpen and continue to drive the company's progress.

Changes in world markets and set environmental regulations challenge companies to adapt products and ensure sustainable distribution and supply chains. Dickow Pumpen is showing that it can keep up with intelligent products in the future and is leading the way forward. One example of this is the development of the new NMX heat transfer pump. By means of a heat barrier and integrated fan, the company succeeds in preventing an undesirable rise in temperature in the roller bearing of the magnetically driven centrifugal pump, thus conserving resources and extending maintenance intervals.

Alexander Hammer is aware of his high responsibility: "In order to remain competitive, we not only have to offer efficient and sustainable pump solutions - our pumps also have to be visible. Currently, many Dickow pumps are installed in chemical and petrochemical plants and tank farms, among others, but the Dickow brand is lost on the end customer."  For example, the geothermal plant in Waldkraiburg, the company's hometown, uses pumps from Dickow. "Without our pumps in the thermal water circuit, the reliable energy supply of Waldkraiburg by means of district heating could not be guaranteed. Many residents are not even aware of this fact," says Alexander Hammer.

In order to be able to continue to offer future-proof and intelligent products, further steps will follow promptly at Dickow. After the remodeling and new construction of the administration building in 2019, numerous renovations and expansions of the production halls will start at the end of this year, which are to be implemented by 2024 and create new capacities for production, test benches and logistics.

Dickow Pumpen has a global presence. Since its foundation in 1910 and since 1946 in Waldkraiburg, the company has been supplying its demanding customers with individual pump solutions and custom-made products in almost all countries of the world.
